Corb takes part in Young Artists for Haiti!

A constellation of more than 50 Canadian stars gathered in Vancouver's The Warehouse Studio last month to record a song in aid of the victims of the Haiti earthquake. Spearheaded by legendary music producer Bob Ezrin and three-time 2010 Juno Award nominee K'naan under the banner Young Artists for Haiti, the song and video - a brand new rendition of K'naan's "Wavin' Flag' - will be available for sale wherever music is sold digitally as of Friday, March 12 at 12:01am ET. All proceeds from the sale of the single will go to Free The Children, War Child Canada and World Vision Canada in support of their on-the-ground efforts in Haiti.

Doc Walker receives nomination for 2010 Juno Awards

A big congratulations goes out to Doc Walker, who were nominated in the 2010 Juno category for Country Album of The Year. After taking home the award last year for their album, 'Beautiful Life', the guys couldn't be more honored to be nominated again this year for their album, 'Go.' Corb Lund joins forces with Canada for Haiti Relief

A star-studded lineup of Canadian celebrities is coming together in support of Haiti relief efforts. Top personalities from the Canadian music, film, television and sports worlds have signed on for CANADA FOR HAITI, a one-hour, commercial-free special produced collaboratively between CBC Television, CTV and Global Television.

Broadcasting live from CBC headquarters in Toronto, CANADA FOR HAITI's stellar roster includes live performances from The Tragically Hip and K'naan, and features musical superstars Céline Dion, Justin Bieber, Nelly Furtado, Sarah McLachlan, Barenaked Ladies, Simple Plan, David Foster, Chantal Kreviazuk, Raine Maida and Measha Brueggergosman. Hollywood heavy hitters James Cameron, Michael J. Fox, Ryan Reynolds, William Shatner, Rachelle Lefevre, Joshua Jackson, Pamela Anderson, Jason Reitman, Eugene Levy, Norman Jewison, Tom Jackson, Will Arnett and Sandra Oh have signed on, joined by television stars Brent Butt, Hugh Dillon, Mike Holmes, Rick Mercer and Alex Trebek and humanitarian Craig Kielburger. Steven Lee Olsen receives a Canadian Radio Music Awards Nomination

Yesterday, Steven was announced as a nominee for The Canadian Radio Music Awards in the category of Best New Group/Solo Artist (country) of the Year for his song, "Now". Steven shares this category with fellow nominees Darren McGinnis, Dean Brody, One More Girl and Victoria Banks.

Presented by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB), the 13th Annual Canadian Radio Music Awards honour Canada's hottest rising radio music stars. The awards will be handed out at a gala luncheon on Friday, March 12, 2010, at the Fairmont Royal York Toronto, as part of Canadian Music Week celebrations.
